Neutrality policy

Published

The commitment

Mynd Healthcare works across health science worldwide and does not take political positions. It does not support or oppose any government, party, movement or election. It aims to share truthful health data from every part of the world on the same footing.

What neutrality means in practice

The same standard of evidence applies to every country and source. A figure from one region is not held to a stricter test than a figure from another.

Where regulators, agencies or studies from different places disagree, the page says they disagree, states each position, and cites each. It does not pick a side because of who is speaking.

Country names, borders and disputed terms are not used to make a point. Where a source describes a place in a contested way, the page uses the source's wording and attributes it, or uses the plainest geographic description.

What neutrality does not mean

Neutral on politics does not mean neutral on evidence. The site does not give equal space to a claim that the evidence does not support. Where a claim is contradicted by good evidence the page says so, and shows the evidence.

Health topics can be tied to public debates, such as funding, regulation or access. The site explains what the evidence shows and where its limits are. It does not make recommendations on policy.

Funding and influence

Pages are not paid for and no one can buy a change to what a page says. Mynd states its relationships and interests in its conflicts of interest policy.

Raising a concern

If a page seems to favour a side, or treats a source unfairly, write to hello@myndlabs.tech with the page and the passage. A justified concern is handled under the corrections policy.
